I really wanted to like this book. Charlotte and Nate seem like they were the perfect couple 15 years ago, both misunderstood and trying to avoid the mess caused by a parent. Nate had good intentions for breaking Charlotte's heart but as is common in romance novels the conflict could have been avoided by just talking. this usually isn't a problem for me but in this story the argument each side made for not talking were really flimsy.

If the story was longer I would have had a change to maybe identify with one of the characters, but as it stands there was a total lack of development. It feels like Nate and Charlotte are in love with the teenage versions of each other, and never got to know the adult versions. This may not matter do much if you're only looking for a quick read, but if you're looking for a book to love, this one is lacking.

This book came with warnings that it contained "lots of dirty sex", and I'm OK with that, but in the context of this story it seemed out of place and rushed. Not to mention the language was a bit crude and excessive.

All in all I didn't hate this book but I was disappointed. 2.5 Stars.

Can I get a ticket to Paradise??

When Charlotte comes back for their fifteen year class reunion, she feels instant heat the first time she sees Nate again. She wants him and realizes he still wants hers...so her plan for revenge should be easy. Until Charlotte finds out the reason Nate did what he did...Now revenge isn't looking so sweet. She plans on fessing up because Nate hates lies, but Nate's BFF Lexi interferes and gives him information about Charlotte that breaks Nate's heart...

Welcome to Paradise, kept me turning the pages, it is a great short story full of emotions, comedy and hot sex. I love the secondary characters and can't wait to read Owen and his assistant Maddie's story in Take Me Home Tonight.

Elle Kennedy has gives us the sexy Bishop brothers and even though we only meet Owen and Nate in WTP, I can tell she has us four super sexy brothers. BUT WAIT...there is the mysterious, uber sexy Cooper Grady as well and boy do I hope we get his story.

Welcome To Paradise is a fully fleshed short story that has me anxious to read the rest of the series.

Charlotte Hill is now a successful singer but still remembers growing up in Paradise and being bullied and tormented at school, and also loved and dumped by Nate Bishop. When she returns to town for their high school reunion, she has one thing on her mind and that's revenge.

Couples with a history reuniting is one of my favorite plots and this one didn't disappoint me. Throw in some dirty secrets from the past and a main character with revenge on her mind and you've got the making of some interesting reading.

I did have mixed feelings about Charlotte, probably because Nate was introduced in the story first. I liked him a lot, he came across as a nice guy so, when I found out what he did to Charlotte I became more sympathetic to her, but at the same time felt uneasy because she's about to go down a path she might later regret. The fact that she's going to use Nate like he used her had me turning the pages to see if it was true he really isn't the nice guy he seems, and what would happen to Nate when she does?

Once these two got together in some very steamy sex scenes, I had my doubts that Charlotte could actually go through with her plan. I had a feeling she was falling for Nate and, the way he's portrayed, I couldn't blame her for rethinking her devilish plot.

I liked the secondary characters in this story, too, but have to say Nate came across as my favorite. His and Charlotte's conversations are natural sounding and the plot is fast-paced enough to keep my interest.

If you like your stories packed with secrets, revenge and reading about two past loves rekindling their romance, I'd recommend this one to you.

Coming home again to where you belong

I really enjoyed this new biker romance quite a bit...the author has greatly improved her storytelling since her Desperado series and although I really enjoy reading all kinds of books with alpha male badboys, bikers are my favorite.
The story of Maggie, a woman raised in an MC and coming back home to her father for protection from her stalker criminal boyfriend and having to face Jase, (her EX who she ran away from), has been done before (in fact the name Jase has been used so many times it's all a blur)...but in this case, there was a really deep emotional story to go with the scenarios and the characters were well written and more complex.
Fathers and daughters who share a tragic past and who have strained relationships because of those issues, are always tough to read about, but I was very pleased with the progression of how they mended their fences and how the violent events surrounding Maggie's return home brought them back together. Jase is that kind of tough guy with a heart of gold and inside the muscular and sexy exterior is a teddy bear who just wants to be appreciated and loved.
There was plenty of sex and violence in this one but also some surprising developments and sweet emotional confrontations that made it all worth reading and I recommend it to all my biker/hard romance loving friends!

Sanctum rocked!

I received this book as an ARC and could not put it down! I am a huge fan of MC stories and usually go into a new read a little reserved. This story hooked me immediately. I like that the characters were "real" people and not "perfect" ones that made no mistakes. They messed up in the past and are in the present trying to change that. I will not spoil the story or the surprise at the end:) Great job Sienna! I loved it and am looking forward to the next one! Thanks for letting me read it early!

I love this author, I love this book

Maggie bit off her nose to spite her face, and discovered she bit off more than she could chew. Her father Henry is the leader of the Black Dogs MC club. He raised her alone after her mother died and was too protective, wanted to keep her separate from the club and from Jase, the boy he had taken in, the boy she fell in love with. When Jase would not leave the club with her, she left w/o him. Big mistake. This is a story of regret, bad choices, the price paid for making bad choices. It keeps you on your toes until the end. Definitely worth reading.
