Not too excited

Received the cook book today and have read thru most of it. It looks alright, but nothing special. None of the soups look like anything my hubby or I would be interested in trying. Disappointed, too, in baking recipes. I probably will try some of the meat & veggie recipes though. The recipes are okay and varied. This book would probably be great for someone who is just starting out on low carb.,

This book is packed with new and easy to man make recipes. I am very impressed. As someone who cooks daily, it was amazing to find new and simple items. It is literally geared towards the entire family. I don't cook seperate meals for my children, but I am cutting carbs on myself. I love how these recipies provide balance. I would buy this again, and even give as a gift.

Although it says there are 500 receipes -it gives about 25 different variations of scrambled eggs then 25 varaitions of boiled eggs etc -which is just useless and repetitive

I was very disapointed in this book. Although it says there are 500 receipes -it gives about 25 different variations of scrambled eggs then 25 varaitions of boiled eggs etc -which is just useless and repetitive. It also suggests eating a lot of high salted meat (bacon and salami etc) which dietry science has shown has links to cancer if eaten alot. It is also written for a US audience, so some of the products listed I can't buy in overseas grocery stores. Overall, I found this very underwhelming and I found much much better and better researched (better informed/researched) information and tastier recipes free online. this needs to do much much better; as such I would NOT recommend.
