O my GOD!

The whole Suma in one volume. It is incredible and a little overwhelming yet it is wonderful to study such writings as St Aquinas has put forth. It is a great help to keep to the teachings of Christ and His Church. It is not to be read as a story book, but to be slowly imbibed and digested; a great way to meditate on God's mysteries. I HIGHLY recommend this text.

About the Author
Mary Minow, a librarian who went to law school, is a consultant with LibraryLaw.com, a Website devoted to legal issues in libraries. She has worked as an attorney, public library branch manager, and online database consultant. She served as adjunct professor of library law at San Jose State University's School of Library and Information Science. She is a regular contributor to California Libraries, conducts workshops on legal issues for librarians, and is past president of the California Association of Library Trustees and Commissioners. Minow earned a master's degree in library science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Stanford University. Tomas A. Lipinski, an attorney who went to library school, is assistant professor and co-director of the Center for Information Policy Research in the School of Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Having worked in private, public, and nonprofit sectors, he writes about issues of intellectual property in education and copyright in schools, libraries, and other information settings. He currently researches, teaches, publishes, and speaks on issues relating to information and internet law and policy. Lipinski earned his J.D. from Marquette University, a master's degree in law from the John Marshall Law School, and a doctorate in library and information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Clear, concise, essential

Minow and Lipinski have crafted a guide for librarians who need guidance in what might seem to be a hopeless quagmire of potential legal entangelements. Its organization is clear, and an excellent index provides good access to its contents. Most important, perhaps, is the clear and unintimidating style of the writing.
Some sections transcend the "library" in the title, and would be useful for anyone a) designing a website; b) working to provide access to resources for people with disabilities; or c) employing staff. Journalists covering library issues will find it to be a useful reference as well.

I love this subject & so will you.

This is an awesome subject. Mark Lane was the first one who spoke up and said "Wait one second! Lets take a closer look". He noticed things very wrong in the Warren Report and he was brave enough to talk & write about it. All I have to say is if I ever wind up in court for murder, I want Mark Lane as my lawyer.

Working with the support of Gen. Hoyt S. Vendenberg, Jr and under conditions of extreme secrecy the CONSTANT PEG program was launched with Peck as the original Red Eagle.

About the Author
Col. (Ret.) Gaillard R. Peck, Jr was a career officer in the US Air Force, after graduating from the Air Force Academy in 1962. He served at the Fighter Weapons School as an instructor in the F-4E for more than 2 years, and since May 1998 Peck has served as an F-15C academic instructor at the USAF Weapons School at Nellis Air Force Base. However, he is best known as the creator of the CONSTANT PEG program that trained US airmen against a collection of MiG fighter jets. The author lives in Las Vegas, NV.

Not a well written book

It's difficult to write a negative review for a book like this. The author has accomplished so much and there is so much to admire in his life that it's almost shameful to criticize the way the story is told.

However, this book is a very difficult read. The narrative is often broken when the author spends a few paragraphs talking about the early career of a pilot. After an interesting situation is introduced, pages and pages are dedicated to background information with little relevance.

In the end I skipped much of the book and didn't enjoy it at all.

I was there!

Another truthful and informative book documenting the years we flew MIG's over the Nevada Desert training thousands of Fighter Pilots from the Air Force, Navy and Marines--both active duty and reserves!
I was Bandit 35 and flew 500 MIG-21 sorties in the 70's. Loved every minute and loved these guys. Outstanding follow-on to Steve Davies book! More about the history, how it started and the resulting aerial victories from Desert Storm.

A big disapointment...

I had read Steve Davies' "Red Eagles" when it was published some years ago, and I expected much from Col. Peck's book as it is written by one of the program's insiders.
Contrary to what some reviewers said, what is bothering me is not so much the fact that it looks like a "Reunion book". After all, this is what you can expect from an insider: many little stories about poeple who made it work. The problem comes from the editing and the fact that there is absolutely no guiding line in the tale: we are thrown randomly into different places, different time, different specialties (mechs, pilots, staff...) with many different poeple whose names reappear randomly now and then. So, for someone who was not part of the group, it is impossible to draw a coherent picture of Constant Peg...
I have given it a two stars anyway, because many individual anecdotes are worth reading, but for the story of it, stick to Davies' "Red Eagles".
